A At the gate as you enter the field.
++++++++
Q Do I have to have the correct money?
A No, but it does help.
++++++++
Q When can I leave?
A Anytime. As soon as you've made your fortune. If you need assistance to leave, just ask a steward.
++++++++
Q When's the best time to arrive?
A It often will depend on the weather and the time of year. In good weather and high summer, you can get in to set up after 8 o'clock. Otherwise you can arrive anytime but there have been occasions when we're full by around 9.30am.
++++++++
Q I'm selling, can I bring my dog?
A No, leave your dog at home.
++++++++
Q Can I do a raffle or tombola for charity?
A No, this isn't permissible.
++++++++
Q What about doing a collection for charity?
A That's ok, but you must be a registered charity and have made arrangements with us in advance.
++++++++
Q My friends and I are raising money for charity and will have a few cars at the boot sale. Can we set up together?
A Yes, that's ok. Try to arrive at the same time, though.
++++++++
Q Is there any place I can deposit rubbish and stuff I've not sold?
A We'd prefer if you took all unwanted material home but there is a skip on site. You should be aware, however, it can sometimes be full if you are one of the last to leave.
++++++++
Q I'm not selling, only buying. Is there parking on site?
A Yes, there is parking on site. Use same entrance as cars which are selling. There's a £1 charge for on-site parking.
++++++++
Q I've got a carload of stuff which I'm not selling but my friend is. Can I drive in with my friend, empty my car and drive away again?
A No, this is not permissible. You would have to park and carry your stuff to where your friend is selling.
++++++++
Q Can I hire tables?
A Unfortunately not, this service is no longer available.
++++++++
Q I would like to come by public transport?
A Couldn't be easier. No 54 and 42 Bus Stop to and from Cupar and St Andrews to Dundee via Tayport is adjacent to the car boot sale site and only 15 minutes from Dundee's Seagate Bus Station.

Q Is there anywhere local I can go for a meal in Tayport after the Car Boot Sale?
A Subject to CV-19 Regulations, Cobbies Inn and Bellrock Tavern, both situated near the Harbour, do meals but booking is advisable. St Michaels Hotel is outside Tayport on the Cupar/St Andrews Road. The View in Wormit, Boat Brae and The Newport in High Street, Newport are also recommended.
