After six friendly wins on the spin, Tayport came crashing back to earth this afternoon, going down 0-4 to Bo'ness United Juniors on the Canniepairt. Losing at least two goals in winning each of their previous six games was perhaps a clue to a potential achille's heel.

Tayport never recovered from the loss of goals from Scott Sinclair and Dylan Paterson in the opening twenty minutes and then Paterson again before the break, gave Tayport a mountain to climb in the second half. A fourth goal, from Tiwi Daramola, in 69 minutes, merely sealed their fate.
