Dundee Violet

Two late goals saw Tayport earn another pre-season win. Tayport took the lead after an own goal from the Violet goalkeeper. But Violet leveled 3 minutes later and could have gone into the break leading but missed a penalty on the 45th min. Violet then did take the lead just after the restart but 2 minutes later it was level again when Jamie McCabe converted from the penalty spot. The next goal then came in the 89th minute when McCabe got his second of the afternoon. The win was confirmed in added time when Gordon Norrie scored a free kick. Another good match for the team before the start of the season on 21st November.
