As announced a few weeks ago Manager Daryl McKenzie has taken the decision to change his coaching team at the club, and the club are delighted to announce the first addition to the new coaching team, Gary Robertson.
Gary who played for the Port in the 2012/13 season, only missing one game, returns to the Canniepairt as First Team Coach. Gary joins us from Lochee Harp where he has been playing this season and as well as being First Team Coach he will be a registered player for the Port and available for selection.
On Gary joining the coaching staff, Manager Daryl McKenzie said, "I am absolutely delighted that Gary has agreed to come and join us. I've worked with Gary before as his manager at Forfar West End and I know what qualities he brings to the club, experience, knowledge and professionalism and that will be a great help to me. He's a young coach, who is ambitious to succeed as a coach at this level, so when the opportunity arose for me to bring him in as part of my coaching team I jumped at the chance. He will continue to play at least to the end of this season but he will do that jointly with being First Team Coach."
Everyone at the club is thrilled to see Gary back at the Canniepairt and look forward to working with him again, welcome back to the Port Gary.
