Tayport FC can confirm that coaches Bobby Brown and Allan Smart have left their positions at the club. Everyone at the club would like to greatly thank both Bobby and Allan for all that they have given to the club.
Bobby joined Tayport in 2019 as part of Chris Macpherson's coaching staff and then was part of Eddie Wolecki Black's staff. Allan joined the club at the start of this year as Eddie's Assistant.
Manager Daryl McKenzie would like to place on record his great thanks to both Allan and Bobby for all the help they've given him and the club. "I have made the tough decision to change my coaching staff. I agreed to work with Allan and Bobby when I accepted the role in July, and they were a massive help to me in settling into the club. As the weeks went by, I just felt that I wanted to bring my own coaching staff in to freshen things up and felt the team needed to hear some new ideas and training methods. I speak on behalf of the players and committee when I wish Allan and Bobby the very best and know they won’t be out the game for long."
Daryl will be announcing his new coaching staff in the coming weeks.
The Committee of Tayport FC thank both Allan and Bobby for their services to the club and they will always be made very welcome at the Canniepairt.
