Tayport Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of defender Greg McColm.
Greg signed for the club on Saturday morning and then played in the 6 - 1 win against Scone Thistle where he scored twice and was then named man of the match after the game. Greg came off the bench last Saturday featuring as a trialist in our win against Dundee Violet and now has put pen to paper and signed.
On signing for the Port Greg had this to say, "I am over the moon to sign for Tayport it’s an ambitious, forward-thinking club run by true professionals and the facilities are incredible. I am also excited to play for such an experienced gaffer and coaching staff and to play alongside such a great bunch of lads. I am looking forward to getting my head down and playing well for the club."
On signing McColm manager Eddie Wolecki Black said, "I'm delighted to have Greg on board, today he showed his defensive ability, which helped the team form a solid base and what was more pleasing was to see his contribution in the opponents box. I'm sure he will remember his debut for the club. I believe Greg will get better and go on to prove a valuable addition to the squad.
