Tayport‘s pre-season programme has got off to a good start with two wins in three days.
On Thursday 6th July - goals from Mackenzie Williamson and Aiden McKelvie gave ‘Port a 2-0 win over East of Scotland Premier Division side Kinnoull FC in Perth.
On Saturday there were nine new faces in a squad which recovered from a half time deficit to record a 2-1 win over Highland League’s Keith FC. Mark van der Kuhl equalised with a magnificent free kick before Gary Sutherland, back at Canniepairt after five seasons away, showed he hasn’t lost the scoring touch by grabbing the winner.
Tayport’s next friendly action is on Thursday 13th July on Canniepairt v Dundee Social.
