Tayport Football Club are thrilled to announce the signing of Reece Ritchie. Central midfielder Ritchie joins the club from Lochee United. Reece will join the rest of the squad when they return for pre-season training on Saturday morning.
In securing Reece’s signature manager Chris Macpherson had this to say, “Reece is a fantastic signing for the club and shows that we can now attract the league’s top players. I know exactly what Reece is capable of having played in the same side and against him on many occasions. He’ll add a dimension to our game with his energy and clever runs which fits exactly into the way we want to play. I’ve been an admirer of Reece for some time, he’s another lovely lad to add to the dressing room and we look forward to seeing him make a massive impact on the team. There was a fair bit of interest in Reece from other clubs, so we’re delighted he agreed to commit to Tayport. We thank Lochee United for their cooperation in releasing Reece so he can train with his new teammates."
